Started: Master's degree
In 2013 I began my 5-year master's degree in mechanical engineering / product development and production at NTNU.
Moved: Trondheim
During the summer of 2013 I moved to Trondheim to study at NTNU and continue training towards becoming a pro cross-country skier.
Gold: 1st place in regional championship!
My skiing club was hosting the regional championship in cross-country skiing. Distance was 10km F mass start, I attacked with 2km left and no one could follow. It was fun to do that in front of friends and family even though it was only on the regional level.
Hired: ScoutDI
Began working as a production engineer at ScoutDI.
60%: Supply chain management, assembly, testing, quality assurance, process improvement, documentation generation and maintenance, design for manufacturing.
40%: Hardware development, mechanical engineering, system performance testing.
Completed: Master's degree
I graduated from college with a Master's degree in mechanical engineering with specialization within early stage product development through TrollLabs at NTNU. The first 3 years of the normal study progression was taken part time to focus on skiing.
First dog!
After wanting a dog all my childhood (got a goldfish and two guinea pigs, mom was "allergic") I was finally able to afford my own. His name is Frodo and he's a Mini-Aussie / Miniature American Shepherd.
